Limerick City Gem - July 2019

Delighted I booked Limerick City Hotel for our few nights break. Weather is great and view from room 422 is beautiful. Hotel staff from check in (Renata in particular) to room service and bar/restaurant staff go above and beyond. Comfy beds in a big airy room was most appreciated. Defo return and recommend to my friends. Value for money is a defo here too. Enjoy folks

Purchased the date night package. From the minute we walked through doors the service was excellent. We had dinner in Mcgettigans bar which could find no fault with. Bar staff were friendly and looked to have great team spirit. Definitely would go back again

My husband and I had a lovely night in Limerick. The hotel room was recently refurbished and very nice. Location and staff excellent and a good on site pub with decent food. Would definitely return. Just a few minutes from shopping and lots of other pubs. Squire Maguires is a Thursday night must for singing and craic.

Convenient and ideally situated hotel. The room rate was great value. The staff encountered were friendly and helpful on both check in and departure. Would recommend this hotel to others who are looking for somewhere central for a short stay.

A group of us booked in for a stag and were surprised by the good value. We didn't know what to expect due to the good rate but it was excellent. I was dealing with Lauren, and she couldn't have been any more helpful as were all the staff. They gave us a great deal for accommodation, breakfast, dinner and a pint but the late check out was the cherry on top.
Brilliant for a stag or hen, very clean and the food was 100%.

Great quality 3 star hotel. Excellent va lue and Location. The only negative I would have would be the lack of Air Con in the room. Unfortunately it Just so happened that it was the hottest 24hrs of the summer so far so the lack of Air Con was keenly felt over night.

the room was fine. But i cannot get over the gorgeous , filling food! I got the curry and it was amazing! My boyfriend got the chicken kiev and he said it was the best he has ever had! Staff are all lovely and i will definitely be back

We booked this hotel simply because of its proximity to Shannon Airport, but were completely taken with Limerick, thanks in large part to the helpful advice we received from Katie at the hotel desk. Highly recommend!

The hotel is situated very close to the centre, there are many pubs to enjoy a drink and live music. Also a few places to have good food. 
We were greted by Andrew in the reception that was great, he gave us a few tips to enjoy the city. Thank you Andrew!

Visited as part of an organised tour. Food choice for breakfast was good, but being a lactose intolerant vegetarian who cannot eat spicy food meant I was unable to eat a main meal in the restaurant.

Stayed for one night. Top class room. Very warm and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Bathroom immaculate. Staff very nice and professional. This hotel is right in Limerick City Centre. They have a reduced parking deal with the Carpark next door.

I stayed in the limerick city hotel for a business trip.i found check in staff very friendly and helpful.reception area was spacious nicely decorated and spotless.my room was spacious with comfy bed and bedding tea making facilities flat screen TV .on check out night Porter helped me with my case which was good service.hotel situated near major retail shops and restaurants.i love the staff in this hotel every trip there friendly welcoming and always on hand if need anything . definitely recommend

"Clean hotel with very friendly staff at the reception and also in the breakfast area, great breakfast - which left nothing to be desired, very good located: near shopping area and King John´s Castle could be reached by foot. Parking space is directly beside hotel available."

“I was very impressed by this hotel,the food was excellent and bar very welcoming.The bar prices were a bit expensive compared to Galway. Rooms were very nice and spotlessly clean,sink in our room was very slow to drain though.”

“The hotel itself is older but renovated. Parking isn’t provided but is very close for a discounted price. Staff was great and the attached restaurant is very nice. Best part of this hotel is how easy it is to get out of Limerick if you’re in the area for sightseeing.”

“Clean, good location. Rooms are very basic however at that price it’s perfect. Stayed for rugby match and no issues. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs and no hassle getting a taxi when needed. Friendly staff.”
